Shipping policy

Shipment time

Orders are usually processed and shipped within 2-5 business days after the order is placed. Orders are shipped from Canada.

USA & Canada: typically, you can expect your order to arrive within 4-8 estimated business days after it is shipped. During the peak holiday season (November - December), please allow 6-10 estimated business days for your order to arrive. Tracking provided on all orders.

*Tariffs and the removal of 'de minimis' have increased slowdowns and delayed delivery timelines. 

*For USA customers, all duties and import taxes are included in your order total. No additional charges at delivery.

International: after your order is shipped, it could take an estimated 15-20 business days or more to arrive. Tracking provided on all orders. 

*Please note that shipping timeframes are only estimates and not guaranteed. Shipments outside of major cities may take additional days. Holidays, weather, postal strikes and other conditions may contribute to shipping delays.

Return to Sender

Umbrella Tree Press is not responsible for uncollected deliveries that are returned to sender, or incorrect addresses that are returned to sender.  We will work with our customers to determine the best resolution, which could be reshipment (paid for by the customer) or a refund of the order excluding shipping costs. 

Lost Packages

On rare occasions deliveries do get lost in transit.  While we are not responsible for any lost deliveries, we want to ensure you receive the products that you ordered.  If you believe your package has been lost, please contact us.  

Damages

If you received your item damaged, you’ll need to contact us within 3 days of your tracking information saying “delivered” in order for us to initiate a claim for your package.  Please save all packaging material and damaged goods.

Import Liabilities and Taxes

If for some reason your item is held by customs, you are liable to pay the necessary duties or taxes associated with the country's custom control.

Please note that Umbrella Tree Press does not cover import liabilities that may be applied by the government of the destination country.  Umbrella Tree Press does not accept any responsibility for customs delays, duties or taxes that may apply in the destination country.  Under no circumstance will Umbrella Tree Press accept any orders back due to rejection of customs charges.  Umbrella Tree Press is not responsible if customers are not notified by their country’s postal authority, customs office or the shipping company that items are awaiting payment of customs duties and taxes.
